MEAMA -FACTORY AND HEADQUARTERS BUILDING

MEAMA -FACTORY AND HEADQUARTERS BUILDING
MEAMA's factory and office building is a project where industrial purpose and architectural idea organically unite. The building's architect is Giorgi Khmaladze (Khmaladze Architects)-the project represents an outstanding example of contemporary Georgian architecture, where function and brand identity come together in one space. This building has received numerous international recognitions-among them, it won ICONIC AWARDS 2020: Innovative Architecture – "Best of Best" and also became the Grand Prix winner of ArchDaily & Strelka Award 2019.

MEAMA -FACTORY AND HEADQUARTERS BUILDING
Externally, the building creates a clear, monolithic character: the "folded" concrete volume seems to hide internal functions and creates a strong, compact silhouette. At the same time, on the other side, the object is more open to the environment-the concept works on contrast: a strict, industrial face from the road and a more "living" side that connects the space with nature.

MEAMA -FACTORY AND HEADQUARTERS BUILDING
In the interior solutions, special attention was paid to lighting and human-oriented environment: atriums, terraces and overhead light sources (skylights) give the building an internal comfort feeling, which is often lacking in industrial infrastructure. The spaces are arranged so that various functions work as a unified system, while transparent dividers (glass partitions) form zones in such a way that the sense of common space is not disrupted.

The green roof and the idea of merging with the landscape enhance the object's sustainability and contemporary architecture line. As a result, this building is not just a factory-it is a space that, beyond production, expresses brand culture and architectural identity.
